Mission Statement

To bring the world together through delicious, organic, and affordable artisan empanadas that satisfy hungry mouths while nourishing communities and protecting our planet. We believe exceptional food should be accessible to everyone.

Vision Statement

To establish a recognizable, eco-friendly brand throughout the Mid-Atlantic region that appeals to foodies, busy families, and everyone in between who values novelty, authenticity, and quality. We envision becoming the premier destination for globally-inspired empanadas while serving as responsible stewards of our environment, people, and communities.

The Problem We Solve

Busy individuals and families struggle to find quick, affordable meals that don’t compromise on quality, nutrition, or taste. Most grab-and-go options are either unhealthy fast food or expensive “artisan” offerings. Meanwhile, adventurous eaters seeking authentic global flavors have limited accessible options in Camden County and Central New Jersey.

Our Solution

We provide handcrafted, organic empanadas featuring global flavor profiles at affordable prices. Our empanadas serve as complete meals — not just snacks — satisfying hunger while delivering authentic culinary experiences. By operating as a mobile food truck, we bring our products directly to customers at festivals, farmers’ markets, business districts, and events, eliminating barriers to access.

Our Story

The story actually begins over two decades ago in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, where Juan Camilo’s parents and brother opened a Colombian restaurant. Juan Camilo was mastering the ancient art of the empanada — crafting those golden pockets of joy with love, flavor, and probably a little bit of controlled chaos that comes with any family kitchen — while earning his bachelor’s degrees at Penn State University.

It wasn’t just about the food. It was about what the food represented: connection. Juan Camilo learned early that whether you’re serving the simplest street food or the most gourmet creation, food is the universal language that brings people together. From Colombian arepas to Texas BBQ, from casual Tuesday dinners to elaborate Thanksgiving feasts, meals create memories. And empanadas? Well, they were the perfect delivery system for those memories — portable, delicious, and universally loved.

The “Aha!” Moment: A Birthday Gift to the World

Then came THE birthday — the one where instead of wishing for socks or a gift card, Juan Camilo wished for something wild: to leave his job and start feeding the world. The decision was clear: it was time to create an empanada empire — not the evil kind with a sinister laugh, but the delicious kind that makes people smile. An empire built on a simple but powerful idea: empanadas should be for everyone. Not just the fancy food trucks charging $10 for a single empanada. Not just frozen grocery store versions made with ingredients you can’t pronounce. But real, authentic, globally inspired empanadas made with organic ingredients at prices that don’t require a small loan.
